Puhtaus.fi Competence Centre has selected MTB-Siivouspalvelu Oy as the Cleaning Company of the Year 2025. The recognition was announced at the Puhtaus.fi Huipputapahtuma event on February 18, 2025.
This is the most significant and prestigious company award in Finland’s cleaning industry.
Responsibility at the Core of the Selection
This year, the selection particularly emphasized responsibility, including sustainable development, ethical working conditions, safety, and operational transparency.
According to Puhtaus.fi Competence Centre, MTB-Siivouspalvelu has demonstrated exemplary, long-term and socially responsible business practices, as well as a strong ability to renew and adapt in a changing operating environment.
Nearly 40 Years of Responsible Growth
MTB-Siivouspalvelu Oy is a family-owned company that has provided high-quality cleaning services for nearly 40 years. The company employs almost 200 people. Its core values of quality, reliability, and responsibility are reflected both in customer work and in personnel policies.
The company has been awarded the Ekokompassi environmental certificate, is a member of the UN Global Compact corporate responsibility initiative, and trains its staff through the MTB Academy.
MTB is also the first cleaning company in Finland to establish an employee bonus fund, to which approximately 30 percent of annual operating profit is allocated each year.
International Growth and Major Milestone
The Cleaning Company of the Year 2025 recognition marks a significant milestone in MTB-Siivouspalvelu’s nearly 40-year history and strengthens the company’s position as a responsible and people-focused developer of the cleaning industry in Finland.
In recent years, MTB has also received international recognition. The company was awarded at the European Cleaning & Hygiene Awards 2025 for promoting diversity and was selected as one of Finland’s Best Workplaces in 2024.
